Are you torn between a simple plug-and-play system and a fully equipped AIO-6 with cameras? Here are the prices, from a standalone device to installation in our workshop. #makelifearide
What does a motorcycle navigation system, including installation, cost?
A motorcycle navigation system costs €430 to €920 for hardware, plus installation at our workshop rate of €110 to €125 per hour, depending on complexity.
Check the current prices in our Navigation Systems collection — the three examples below show how that amount is calculated, from an entry-level model without cameras, plug-and-play on your BMW, to the latest AIO-6 system with cameras.
Entry-level, plug-and-play without cameras — Chigee AIO-5 Play BMW version: This version (€489.95) is specifically designed for the BMW navigator holder and is virtually plug-and-play in practice — hardly any installation time needed. If you also want steering wheel controls and on-board computer access, add the CGRC LIN (€94.95, installation about half an hour): total €584.90.
General model, with cameras — Chigee AIO-5 EVO: The EVO device itself costs €429.95 and is not BMW-specific, making it suitable for any motorcycle. Cameras are included standard with this model, but it's a real installation job — expect about 3 to 4 hours of work, as fairing parts (depending on your motorcycle) need to be removed and reinstalled for neat cabling.
Newest and most equipped, with cameras — Chigee AIO-6 Max for BMW: The AIO-6 Max device (€519.95) with a BMW Quick-Release Module (€125.00) and HDR cameras (€179.95) comes to €825.90 for hardware — the most equipped system we carry. Again, camera installation is the time-consuming part, taking about 3 to 4 hours on a BMW R1250 GS Adventure.
The price difference between these three is not in which device you choose, but mainly in whether you want cameras: without cameras, you'll be done in half an hour; with cameras, it always takes around 3 to 4 hours, whether you go for the EVO or the AIO-6.
Would you prefer to leave the installation to us? Our workshop in Roelofarendsveen (3 minutes from the A4, between Leiden and Amsterdam) — contact us to schedule an appointment. You can do so by phone, email, or simply a WhatsApp message.
You receive a manufacturer's warranty (Chigee or Carpe Iter) on your navigation system, plus 1 year of ApexMoto's own installation warranty on the mounting work.
