Description
Description
Alternative power source type for the CI Pad v1, v3, v4, and v4b. The power source is always active and always draws power from the motorcycle's electrical system. Designed to prevent problems with automatic power source switching (standard accessory) on motorcycles that cannot maintain voltage levels above the switching threshold (13.5 V under load).
When connected directly to the motorcycle battery it will constantly draw power - the drain will be significant if you charge the CI Pad on your motorcycle with the engine off, which can result in a fully discharged motorcycle battery within a few hours.
