BMW rear light LED function splitter set for the BMW R1250GS 1300GS and GSA

If you own a BMW R1250GS or GSA from 2021 to 2024, you likely have these multifunctional turn signals on the rear of your motorcycle. They're recognizable from the rear by their three function indicators: running lights, brake lights, and turn signals. These taillights look very attractive, but appearances can be deceiving.

When indicating, the orange light is not very noticeable because in the small indicator unit, the red light and the even brighter red brake light make the orange light of the indicator function almost invisible.

Owner feedback is that, as good-looking as they may be, visibility is so poor that they can be considered a potential hazard to both the driver and other road users.

Installation is quick and easy, and you don't even need any tools or expertise. Just plug in two connectors and you're done!

Two small modules are mounted to the right and left of the rear turn signals. Directly beneath the seat, they are easily accessible.

After installation, the red light and/or red brake light in the active turn signal will be temporarily disabled when the turn signal function is activated. When the turn signal function is disabled, the red light will come back on, and the brake light function will be available again.
